When life …

When life feels like your scrolling

When life is pushing and pulling

Pause

Turn to Jesus

When life is heavy and hard to rest

When life has taken its last breath

Pause

Turn to Jesus

When life overwhelms your view

And it feels like there’s nothing you can do

Pause

Turn to Jesus

When there are mountains of

joy and sorrow

Remember God’s in your tomorrow

Pause

Turn to Jesus

When I turn to Jesus

There is breath and rest.

Finally, there is room to view.

There’s nothing that God cannot do,

when I choose to

Pause

And stand in awe of

Jesus.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray that Your mighty arms would comfort me today, like a big heavenly hug. I pray that You would help me to see that I am the apple of your eye. I pray that in those moments of pause I will confidently know, You are always there and will never give up on me. You tell us in your word that you care so much for us, that you want us to cast all our cares, worries, anxieties on You. (1 Peter 5:7) Today, I turn to Jesus, asking that you take all the cares that I hold onto and I surrender them into your mighty Sovereign and faithful hands. Thank you for being all that I need through Christ Jesus. Your grace is enough.
